JAN’S PERSONAL PROVERBS

Let me explain about my nickname Jan. when I was born, my 2 grandfathers were James and Napoleon
My parents took the Ja from James and N from Napoleon and nicknamed me Jan
So, In a way, it honors my grandfathers.

Now,Here are my personnel proverbs.
If a task has an easy part and and a hard part
do the hard part first.
EXERCISE
I’ve learned to look past the difficulty of exercise
and see
the benefits of the benefits of doing them
and
The consequences of not doing them.
Should I bring (whatever) with me?
Better to have it an not need it
Then to need it and not have it.
I have decided to live 1 day at a time.
Better late – than never
Start small – but START!
Better to to do too much, than not enough.
Always err on the side of caution.
You can always take more, but you can never take less.

This next part is not about proverbs, but you might find this interesting.
There was a time – years ago – when I went into a store and bought a wrist watch.
Usually, you would open the package, take out the -in this case a wrist watch – and discard the paper wrapper.
But- a little phase printed on the paper wrapper read: “The more care you give your watch the more faithfully it will serve you.”
I have applied that little phrase into many things.
For example: I have a Life Fitness Life cycle machine in my home. As I’m peddling my machine,I say to myself, “The more care I give my heart, the more fatefully it will serve me.”
My hands are often very rough and dry. But: no problem. I take out a bottle of hand lotion and apply it on my hands,
thinking “The more care I give my hands, the more faithfully they will serve me.”
If you find these things – the proverbs – or the thoughts about giving care to (whatever) it will faithfully serve you, I invite you to write a comment in the form below. I’d love to see what you think of what you’ve read here.
