If You Love God He Makes All Things Work Together for Good

When you love God, and when you know He is calling you, you’ll reap this Benefit: God works ALL things together for good!.

god works all things together for good

Here is the entire Scripture passage:

New King James Version:

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)

English Standard Version:

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)

God Will Make Something Good Out Of Your Problems If…

If you have listened for and answered His call on your life
The Great Commission

16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:16~20)

  • disciples went to [where] Jesus directed them
  • they worshiped Him
  • Some doubted
  • Jesus said, “all authority… has been given to Me…”
  • Go therefore; make disciples
  • teaching them to observe all…
  • I am with you always
The Truth Will Set You Free

31 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31~32)

I see that your “Love God” quotient is high, or you would have stopped reading by now.

Here are some thoughts that I want to share:

Isn’t it great that you can know truths about God’s ways — including His promises to help you? (Some people actually believe we can’t know any truth!) And isn’t it fantastic to realize that He’s working for your good to give you His very best?

God never wastes an experience.

He can take what seems to be an absolute “train wreck” of a life, and use it for His purposes. He didn’t cause your problems, but He allowed them to happen for reasons you may not know until you’re in heaven. The fact is: He saw your train wreck coming before He created the universe!

God’s plan is to strengthen you for His work. He’ll take your mess and make it your message. He will teach you things through adversity that you would never learn unless He allowed some rain to fall into your life. These lessons are far more bearable when you know God has so much confidence in you that He allows them to happen. The “fire” of the adversity you are in may be hot, but God’s hand is on the thermostat! He knows exactly how much you can stand.

Job put it so nicely:

But He knows the way that I take; when He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold” (Job 23:10)

This is the process God uses to make us more like Christ, so we can do Christ’s work.

PRAYER:“Heavenly Father, I choose to trust You when You say my trials are just for a season. I know something good will come out of it. I choose to step out in faith as I wait for You!”

I appreciate your emails they always touch me in a special way. I know God loves me and I love him with all my heart. I have been praying for a very long time for a certain problem I don’t see how it can ever be fixed but I know God is faithful and I have to be patient. Thank you again

It is a great comfort to place our trust and faith in our awesome creator, especially during times of trial. It is difficult to even begin to imagine the utter dispair a non-believer might have when times grow tough. I try to give thanks to our loving God as much as seeking world peace and other petitions in prayer and regular ‘conversation’ with I Am and the spirit world. For over a week now my earnest thoughts and prayers have been much more focused on Cheri Ventrucci Blaha, a young mother fighting for her life in a local hospital. On March 3, 2019 Cheri gave birth to a healthy baby girl, and my dear friend and grandmother excitedly announced the birth and shared pictures. Cheri and her husband, Alex, were overjoyed to bring Luciana home to her 2-year old sister, Florence. Life was beautiful until March 13th when Cheri suffered a major brain bleed/stroke at home. Since then, Alex and family and friends have been praying fervently for Cheri’s life. Cheri was heavily sedated following brain surgery, but she is now beginning to show signs of recognizing Alex and performing small movements that show some positive recall. I’m hoping that you will join the multitude of prayer warriors that hold this beautiful young family near their hearts. Alex and Cheri have strong faith and Alex believes prayers are keeping Cheri with us. He is begging for prayers, prayers and more prayers. Cheri, a 36 year old Special Ed teacher, is a remarkable young woman who needs our help. Thank you, and God Bless you and your beautiful ministry.

Hi, Pat, I want you to know that Joanne and I have prayed along with you for your friend. In Psalm 139, David wrote, “All the days ordained for were written in Your book before even one of them came to be”. He is in charge, and He is working to bring about the very best possible outcome. In these situations, I like to praise God in advance for His will to be done. Everything is a test, and everything has a purpose. We may not know the answerw to the “why” questions until we get to heave.

I try to pray prayers of thanksgiving to God as much as prayers and regular ‘conversation’ in seeking guidance, peace on earth, etc.
