The Devil’s Dirtiest Trick Of All

I know what you’re thinking: “I know the devil is a great deceiver. But, what is his dirtiest trick of all?”

dirtiest trick

  • The devil’s dirtiest trick is not the fact that he lies. We already know he lies!
  • Nor is the devil’s dirtiest trick his ability to inflict fear and panic upon you.
  • The devil’s dirtiest trick is not that he tempts you, although he has studied you and knows your weaknesses.
  • The devil’s dirtiest trick is not even how he accuses you before God — after getting you to fall for his temptations!

All of those malicious, harmful actions are evil and calculated to make you miserable. But here’s the most cunning, the most devious, the most dangerous, the dirtiest trick of all:

Here It Is! This Is The Devil’s Dirtiest Trick:

The devil wants to keep you from understanding the Bible. He wants to keep you ignorant of the fact that God put practical, beneficial, life-transforming principles into the Bible. Because once you become aware of these Truths, the devil knows you’ll begin to apply them and actually live by them!

And just the mere thought of you doing that freaks the devil out! Therefore all of hell is working overtime to keep you and most others TOTALLY IGNORANT OF THE BIBLE!

Because then, you’ll never get to know God.

Best of all: THEN HE HAS YOU!

Here are several of the many “fun things” the devil has planned for you — IF he can just keep you from reading and understanding the Bible, and then actually living in obedience to the principles you’ve found in the Bible.

Oh, how he DOES NOT want you to know Bible principles and then live by them.

Here’s why:

  • He’ll be able to confuse you; trouble you; and torment your mind AT WILL! Then he’ll laugh at you as you spew your venomous wrath upon everyone around you, insisting that they are the cause of all your misery.
  • He’ll cause you to believe that your soul will be going to heaven — just because you belong to a particular religion! And you’ll believe it, because you won’t know what God has said about salvation!
  • The devil might even bring material prosperity into your life, knowing how effective prosperity is in keeping people distracted from the things of God.
  • The devil has read the Bible. He knows that, even though God is right there with you, you won’t know that, and thus you won’t know that you can just turn to Him for help. Then the devil can sneer at God as he torments you, knowing that God’s hands are tied because of your free will.
  • He might even help you get promoted, knowing that you’ll get the “big head”, and become totally invested in the things of this world.
  • He’ll keep you locked into a “try-harder” religion, then laugh with delight as you wear yourself out, trying and failing again and again.
  • He’ll cause you continue thinking of Christians who really believe the Bible and are trying to live be the principles in it are just a bunch of “Jesus Freaks”.

Now, the devil will not mind at all when he sees you reading the Bible — but without seeing any connection between what you’re reading and the affairs of your life.

Here’s what makes all of hell tremble:

What makes hell tremble is when something you read causes you to gasp with astonishment, as you realize that what you just read has intersected with a need in your life. That will cause you to re-read the passage — but this time with understanding. A shiver will go up your spine as You realize that God had you in His mind when he transferred those words into the heart of His writer! THAT is the moment that terrifies the devil!

Above All, God Want Us To Know Him.

But when we ignore Him; when we choose to be indifferent to His ways — the devil snatches another soul away from God!.

Note the underlined text:
A Rest for the People of God

7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today, if you hear his voice, 8 do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness, 9 where your fathers put me to the test and saw my works for forty years. 10 Therefore I was provoked with that generation, and said, ‘They always go astray in their heart; they have not known my ways.’ 11 As I swore in my wrath, ‘They shall not enter my rest.’” (Hebrews 3:7~11)

If the devil can trick you into believing his lies, he knows where you will be for all of eternity:

dirtiest trick

But here is how YOU WILL respond to His statutes and teachings and commands, and so get to know His ways, right?

(He’s listening; lift up your voice, and let Him hear you say: “RIGHT!!”)
Note the underlined text:

12 And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, 13 and to keep the commandments and statutes of the Lord, which I am commanding you today for your good? (Deuteronomy 10:13~14)

Do You Understand?

The Word of God is the funnel through which His wisdom, His power, His love, and His blessings flow into your life!
That is why God is so anxious to get YOU into His Word, so that He can Get His Word into YOU!

Note the underlined text:

9 And so, from the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 to lead a life worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. 11 May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. 13 He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (Colossians 1:9~14)

I hope you noticed: that prayer for you included your salvation.

Note the underlined text:

10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 11 And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. 12 For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.” (Hebrews 8:10~12)

If you believe what I’ve written, you have a choice to make:
  • Do not respond in any positive way to what you just read. The devil will rejoice!
  • Click / Tap Here to read excerpts from my articles on a relatively easy way to get Bible verses into your memory. Read those articles, and begin doing what they say. God and all of heaven will rejoice!

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” (James 1:22)

The choice is yours. MAKE IT A GOOD ONE!

I am going through difficult time but your words are full of healing, I read the Bible more than any book in my life and I do understand it, my concern is that the devil hates me more than anything and it seems he plans how to destroy me daily.

Raymond, if Satan could have destroyed you, he would have. God has him “on a leash” so to speak. He can go just so far, and no farther.
In the Apostle Peter’s first letter, he wrote this:
      Suffering for God’s Glory

12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; 13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. (1 Peter 4:12-13)

He’s calling all of us to consider our suffering as an opportunity to bring more glory to God.
