A Key Reason Skeptics Reject The Resurrection

A Key Reason Skeptics Reject The Resurrection

What If God Says “Murder Is Good?”

A student asks Dr. Frank Turek

What about the notion that God is arbitrary? What if He decides that what’s bad today is good tomorrow? Have you ever heard, what if God decides that rape is good from now on?

Do Only Morally Good People Go To Heaven?

At East Carolina University, a student asked Dr. Frank Turek:

Do Morally Good People Go To Heaven?

What About Those Who’ve Never Heard The Gospel?

How Can There Be A Trinity?

A tough question asked by a student at East Carolina University:

If God is a limitless, infinite being how there can be a trinity?

How do we account for the errors of the scribes?

At SMU Dr. Frank Turek was asked

“How do we account for the errors of the scribes in the New Testament since these documents were handed down from one person to the next and what if these errors are not simple and interfere with the teachings of the scriptures.

Has Science Discovered God?

At SMU Dr. Frank Turek was asked

Can Miracles Really Happen?

At SMU Dr. Frank Turek was asked this question:

Can Miracles Really Happen?

The Christian religion not only was at first attended with miracles but even at this day cannot be believed by any reasonable person without one. – David Hume (copied from YouTube)

The next video is Part 1 of a series of videos by David C. Pack

Many absolute proofs supporting creation over evolution.:

I watched this video and wondered, “Now could anyone see and listen to these scientific facts and remain unconvinced?” But then I remember a passage in the Book of Romans where God refers to those who are under the control of a spirit of stupor. Look at this:

God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that would not see and ears that would not hear, down to this very day.” (romans 11:8)

Sadly, there are so many people in that mode. One man, after watching a whole series on apologetics still clung to the opinion that God uses evolution to arrange the universe.

My challenge for those who have children in school is to find a way to present examples of REPUTABLE SCIENCE like these to those who teach your children. It likely won’t be easy. But if people don’t speak up, the anti-God movement that is so vocal in the world we now live in will surely capture and enslave the minds and hearts of your son or daughter and turn them away from God.

Can Evolution Explain Morality?

This video is by Dr. Frank Turek. I have seen him many times on his TV show, “I Don’t Have enough Faith To Be An Atheist”.

In this video, Dr. Turek responds to a question from his audience. The questioner mis-quotes something Dr. Turek said, in an attempt to discredit the speaker. The video is just under 5 minutes long.

Here is part of Dr. Turek’s bio:

Dr. Frank Turek is a dynamic speaker and award-winning author or coauthor of four books: Stealing from God: Why Atheists Need God to make their Case, I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist, Correct, Not Politically Correct and Legislating Morality. As the President of CrossExamined.org . Frank presents powerful and entertaining evidence for Christianity at churches, high schools and at secular college campuses that often begin hostile to his message. He has also debated several prominent atheists including Christopher Hitchens and David Silverman, president of American Atheists.

Can Evolution Account For Morality?

Frank’s point was, “A holocaust is objectively wrong! And if something is objectively wrong, there has to be something that is objectively right”

The questioner replied that those who participated in the holocaust believed they were doing what was right.

Frank went to the REAL point: “The point is: if there’s ONE THING that is morally wrong, then God exists!”

Here are the bullet points Frank put on the screen:

  • Moral laws are not chemical or biological; they are immaterial and come from personal agents
  • Chemistry and biology are descriptive not prescriptive; evolution describes what does survive, not what ought to survive. Why should humans survive?
  • Should we rape to survive?
  • Should we murder the weak to help others survive? (That was Hitler’s point.)
  • Since evolution is a process of change, then morals must change — rape may one day be “good”
  • Why “cooperate” when not cooperating often helps you survive? (It’s much easier to be selfish than selfless.)

This next video is also by Frank Turek. It’s short but very helpful.

I like that approach: Don’t make statements; ask questions.

Isn’t that what Jesus often did? When confronted with an angry, in-your-face antagonist, Jesus would calmly ask a question. We can learn a lesson from that.

The titie of the book that Frank Turek quoted from is “Tactics: A Game Plan for Discussing Your Christian Convictions”.

From NASA: The Largest Photo Ever Taken!

The emphasis is on the Andromeda Galaxy, which is the nearest galaxy to our own Milky Way Galaxy. Andromeda is one of billions (perhaps trillions?) of galaxies in the known universe.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)

According to atheists and evolutionists, what you will see — and the video is from reputable science — came into being all by itself… without a creator.

Somebody help me out here…

Am I supposed to believe that all of that (and whatever else there may be that we cannot see) came into being… all by itself?

Seriously??

That’s what I’m supposed to believe? All of that… all by itself… from nothing??

Forgive me… I don’t have enough faith to believe that!

I’m going to stay connected to the One who wrote these:

The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. (Psalm 19:1)

By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. (Hebrews 11:3)

The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” (Psalm 53:1)

LASTLY: This is purely for your enjoyment!

This 2-minute video is by award-winning National Geographic photographer Jim Brandenburg.

Perhaps it’s late at night, and your spirit is unsettled. Dim the lights, zoom this video to full-screen, turn up the sound, and listen. As you do, think of God saying to you, “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10).

Listen for God to talk to you!

“The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. 2 Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge.” (Psalm 19:1-2)

“…and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7)
