Choose: Play The Fool? Or Become Wise!

Difficult situations arise daily, and they demand choices. GOOD NEWS! Each of us has the opportunity to choose.

Here is the entire Scripture passage:

A fool gives full vent to his spirit…
…BUT…
…a wise man quietly holds it back.”(Proverbs 29:11)

Among the many lessons I have learned from God’s Word is this one:

I can choose to be the “fool [who] gives full vent to his spirit”. (and reacting with instant rage is a choice!)

I can choose TO be the “wise man [who] quietly holds it back”.

This shift in your way of handling grievances may seem difficult at first. But the effort is pleasing to God.

It is NOT about winning the argument
It IS about living in harmony with God!!
