About The Devil

WELCOME!

Before you read the article “What The Devil Does NOT Want You To Know”, I wanted to tell you a few things.

That article is part of a series of articles on the subject of Scripture memory. It contains information such as:

  • How the devil blinds the minds of some people, preventing them from understanding the Truth.
  • How, when people hear the Word, the devil snatches it away.
  • A list: “Seven Strategies The Demons Use”. The “slant” is toward how the devil will try to keep you from reading and memorizing God’s Word.

I’ve put this article at the top of the list at right because I’ve noticed that people seem to be Googling that topic. Obviously, it’s something people seem to be searching for help with.

But there’s a lot more about the devil that I can tell you.

I’ve also included a series of articles entitled, “How To Be Free From Fear, Worry, Anxiety”. Those articles chronicle a series of events in my own life. There was a season in the past when I knew none of the things I’ve been writing about now. When disaster struck, I went through a hell-on-earth with fear, worry, panic attacks — all because no one had ever taught me that those “feelings” were being caused by demons. For the demons, tormenting me must have been like shooting fish in a barrel!

But now, those demons are getting their comeuppance! I’m on to their schemes, and I’m telling everyone the things that God has taught me.

Have you seen our Scripture cards?

They have powerful Bible passages on the front, and practical applications on the back. These are 4" x 6" cards offset-printed on postcard stock.

These are just a few of them. See them all at our  Store! .

Everything I’ve written in these articles is supported by Scripture. But I’m also writing from the vantage point of personal experiences. In the series of articles under the heading “How To Be Free From Fear, Worry, Anxiety”, I’ve written about how bad life was for me when calamity struck, before I knew how to use the Word of God as a weapon against the devil. Later, I’ve described how I got victory over the devil–with Divine help, of course. Believe me, I’ve learned a lot, and let me assure you: IT WORKS!

Here Are Ten Things The Devil Does NOT want you to know

BTW, the ten things in the list below correspond to the ten Scripture cards in the ad above.

  1. Fear comes from the demons, NOT from God!
  2. Satan and his demons always lie!
  3. God (who lives in you) is greater that Satan (who is in control of this world).
  4. Submit to God–and get strength to resist the devil.
  5. In times of trouble, God will be with you.
  6. You CAN sleep peacefully.
  7. Seek the LORD and He will deliver you from fear.
  8. God knows exactly when your days in this world will be done.
  9. The devil has blinded the minds of unbelievers so that they cannot see the light of God’s Word.
  10. You can have what God’s Word calls “perfect peace” when you keep your focus on God.

This won’t be a quick fix. Like getting stronger muscles, it takes time and effort to become stronger. And now that I said that, the devil is speaking into your heart saying, “Forget this! I need something right now!” Are you hearing a thought like that in your mind? That’s the devil talking to you. So now, you have to decide: listen to God, or listen to the devil. The choice is yours.

As you can see, there is much to be said about standing against the devil. I could summarize it briefly as follows:

  • The devil is real. He hates you because you love Jesus and Jesus loves you. By taking you down, the devil thinks he can hurt Jesus.
  • The devil is behind most of the fear, worry, doubt, guilt, etc. in your life.
  • Satan’s purpose is remarkably simple: he goes to great lengths with empty promises and lies to get you to choose to live independently from God’s will.
  • God is infinitely more powerful than Satan and all His demons combined. (He oughta be; He created them.)
  • God will help those who walk in obedience to Him, and who put their complete trust in Him by turning to Him in faith.
  • God does not promise a problem-free life. Actually, He uses your problems to help you grow spiritually.

Obviously, I’ve left out a lot of details in the list above. But you’ll find plenty of details in the articles.

By the way: right now, if the thoughts in your mind seem to be suggesting that all I’m saying is nonsense or too much to read (or something like that), those are thoughts put into your mind by a demon, intending to keep you from learning how to defeat him.

God has worked a lot of wisdom into me in the last couple of decades. He as called me to write these things for all to read and learn from.

I invite you to click the link at the top of the list at right. You have nothing to lose.
